Jeffrey Allen Quick, 41, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012.
He was born Nov. 26, 1970, in Big Piney, son of Lonnie and Betty Quick. He and Jenny Wade were married in 1993.
He was raised in Big Piney. As an adolescent, he was an active member of the youth group at Roby Baptist Church. He accepted God as his Savior in his teenage years.
After graduating from Plato High School in 1989, he joined the Army reserves. He worked as a deputy at the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department and later was an officer at the Rolla Police Department.
He loved writing, playing baseball, deer hunting and spending time on the river. He was known as a prankster, especially at the Rolla Police Department.
Survivors include his parents; a son, Dalton; a sister, Tammy Harrison; three nieces; and a nephew.
A celebration of life services were Sunday, Sept. 4, at Roby Baptist Church with Pastor Brock Davis officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
