A Nixa man was arrested last night in Texas County after being clocked traveling 113 miles per hour and then attempting to flee, authorities said.
Justin P. Hurt, 29, was arrested on the fleeing and speeding charges, as well as careless and imprudent driving, displaying plates of another person, failure to register a motor vehicle, failing to stop for sign and having no insurance.
He was taken to the Texas County Jail and held.
Mark T. Barton, 35, of Licking, was arrested Monday in Phelps County on a Texas County warrant charging him with non-support of a child.
