A Mountain View man was injured Monday night when his truck ran off a Texas County road and struck a tree.
Tpr. J.D. Watson said a southbound 1995 Dodge pickup driven by Christopher L. Hawkins, 52, ran off Highway 17 about six miles north of Mountain View.
Hawkins, who had minor injuries, was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.
Watson said he was not wearing a seat belt. The vehicle was totaled.
