The Missouri Department of Conservation invites the public to celebrate the department’s 75th anniversary from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at the Ozark Regional Office in West Plains.
This event, hosted by the MDC’s Ozark Regional supervisors, is intended to show the department’s appreciation for support from the public and also for MDC staff to celebrate accomplishments.
“These have been a very memorable 75 years for the department of conservation, deserving of a celebration,” said Protection Regional Supervisor and Site Administrator Gary Cravens.
Cravens said hot dogs and soft drinks will be served and area vendors have donated items for door prize drawings.
The office is at 551 Joe Jones Blvd. For more information about the anniversary, call Trish Bryan at 417-256-7161 or go online to mdc.mo.gov.
