Three teens were hurt in a crash Friday afternoon just south of Eunice on Highway 17, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. Myron Downey said two vehicles were stopped waiting for a northbound school bus offloading when a 1999 Ford truck driven by Lydon I. Williams, 17, of Yukon, ran into the rear of a 1994 Ford Escort station wagon operated by Deidra A. McAfee, 50, which forced it to strike a 1994 Mitsubishi Diamonte operated by Kalena M. Freitas, 17, of Eunice.
Freitas and passengers in the other two vehicles, Paige D. Manzi, 16; and Blaise Jankowiak, 15, of Eunice, were taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries, said Downey.
All those involved were wearing seat belts, according to a patrol report.
Members of the Summersville Fire Department were also called to the scene.
