Daniel “Danny” Thomas Heiney, 56, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, in Houston.
He was born Nov. 4, 1955, in Rolla, son of Daniel Thomas and Edna Marie Hedrick Heiney. He and Bethany Cooper were married Nov. 10, 1979.
He loved animals and attending church services and gospel singings. He was a member of Brown Hill Baptist Church but enjoyed attending Nagle and Big Creek churches as well.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary and Dianna; and a brother, Vernon.
Survivors include his wife, Bethany; three sons, Gary, Seth and Jacob of Houston; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mona Lewis of Eunice, Joyce Franklin of Yukon and Vera Franklin of Willow Springs; three brothers, Ivan Heiney of Eunice, Robert Heiney and James Heiney of Licking; and many other family members and friends.
Services were Friday, Oct. 5, at Evans Funeral Home with Dr. Terry Snelling and Pastor Lynn Gayer officiating. Cremation followed the service under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
