Mary Jeanette Keeling, 81, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, in St. Louis.
She was born July 25, 1931, in St. Joseph, daughter, of Everett Edwin Maxfield and Ruby Wave Summers. She and Roland George Keeling were married Oct. 19, 1950.
She graduated from Summersville High School, where she was elected queen. During that time, she also sold popcorn and tickets with her sister, Juanita, at her parent’s theater in Summersville.
She known as “Ma” and enjoyed her grandchildren, shopping and playing games. She also enjoyed traveling with her sister, Juanita Chrisco, and husband, Bill, to various places, including Utah and Florida.
She loved attending Fellow Tabernacle and worshiping with her many church friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and many relatives.
Survivors include her husband, Roland; four children, Rhonda, Debbie, Mike and Ron; five grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Services were Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Bradford Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Ferguson officiating. Burial was in Flatwoods Cemetery.
