Dorothy Marie Hamilton, 80, of Cabool, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at Texas County Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 7, 1932, in Ottawa, Kan. daughter of Edwin and Myrtle Brann Guinn. She and Jerry Hamilton were married Sept. 13, 1953.
Since retiring from Brown Shoe, she enjoyed fishing and camping with friends and family and playing cards at the Cabool Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald; and a sister, Margaret.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry of the home; three sons, Martin of Plato, Gerald of Cabool and Jeff of Pennsylvania; a daughter, Susan of Cabool; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of family members and friends.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation was under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home.
