Jewell Cole Adey Farmer, 101, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at New Horizons Care Center in Lovell, Wyo.
She was born February 2, 1911, in Houston, daughter of Delilah Haney and Estrel Cole. She and Vernon Adey were married June 23, 1933, in Houston. He died in October 1956. She and Oscar Farmer were married Jan. 2, 1962. He died in August 1987.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Vernon Adey and Oscar Farmer; a son, Emmett Adey; a grandson; four brothers, Johnie, James, Everett and Cecil; and two sisters, Myrtle, Mamie, and Edna.
Survivors include a daughter, J. Maxine Wambeke of Lovell, Wyo.; a son, Lynn Adey of Lovell, Wyo.; a sister, Blanch Ross of Houston; five grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great grandchildren; a stepson, Jim Farmer; and many other family members.
Services were Friday, Oct. 26, at Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell, Wyo.
