Shirley B. Hafner, 69, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012.
She was born Dec. 31, 1942, in Cedar Grove, daughter of Clyde Smith and Beulah Maggard. She and Larry Glenn Hafner were married Sept. 9, 1959.
She was a member of Abounding Hope Church in Licking.
She enjoyed cooking, taking trips to Montauk, Treasure Lake and Lake Norfork in Arkansas and spoiling her grandchildren. In her final years, she enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and mule drawn wagon riding with Bob Wulff.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry; a brother, Troy; and a sister, Arlene.
Survivors include a son, Larry Jr.; five grandsons; a granddaughter; two great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; four brothers, Churchill, Hershel, Eddie and Roy; two sisters, Sue and Aleene; and many other family members and friends.
Services were Saturday, Nov. 24, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Brother James Miller officiating. Burial was in Licking Cemetery.
