Two drivers received injuries late Saturday morning in a collision east of Houston on Highway B.
Tpr. P.R. Wells of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said an eastbound 1993 Nissan Quest driven by Bonnie L. Richards, 61, of Houston, was stopped to make a left turn when the vehicle was struck from behind by a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Leonard H. Brim, 79, of Raymondville.
Brim’s truck travelled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree, Wells said.
Both were taken with moderate injuries to Texas County Memorial Hospital. Wells said Brim was not wearing a seatbelt.
The accident was about 2.5 miles east of Houston.
