A 35-year-old Tyrone driver was seriously injured early Sunday when her vehicle ran off Highway H and struck a tree.
Sgt. George Falterman of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said the driver of the westbound 1993 Dodge Shadow, Stephanie M. Kamp, was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The mishap occurred near Highways H and 137.
Members of the Raymondville and Tyrone fire departments were called shortly after 7 a.m. to assist at the scene.
The vehicle was totaled. Falterman said Kamp was not wearing a seat belt.
