A Houston man was injured Wednesday in a crash on Hog Creek Road two miles south of Houston.

A Houston man was injured Wednesday night after a truck ran off Hog Creek Road and into a ditch before it caught fire two miles south of his hometown.

Tpr. Myron Downey said Douglas L. Brim, 52, of Houston, was the driver of the northbound 1996 Chevrolet S10. He was buckled and was not hurt.

A passenger, Jeffery E. Davy, 25, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt, Downey said.

The vehicle was totaled. The Houston Rural Fire Department also responded to the scene.
