Loren Lonas Wetzel, 76, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Kabul Nursing Home.
He was born May 6, 1936, in Myrtle, son of Loren B. and Delphia F. Phenix Wetzel. He married Jean Gibson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Wetzel; a sister, Donna Offuit and baby Lola Wetzel; and a twin that died at the age of 10 months.
Survivors include a brother, James Wetzel; four sisters, Glenda Adkisson, Ina Lee, Betty Ingle Lucy Smith; several grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
No services are planned at this time. The body was cremated under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
