Mary Ann Ashley, 79, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Washington, Mo.
She was born July 3, 1933, in Cabool, daughter of Robert Hill and Verna Jackson Hill.
She was most recently living in Union with her youngest daughter, Mary, and two of her great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
Survivors include three daughters, Cathy Walker, Debra Alonzo and Mary Whittington; a son, Victor Strack; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial will be held in Pine Lawn Cemetery in the spring. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
