Mary Winefred Ebert, 72, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at Rocky Ridge Manor in Mansfield.
She was born Nov. 13, 1940, in Hammond, Ind., daughter of Wilford and Hazel Williams Decker. She and Ray Ebert were married July 4, 1959. He died July 15, 1994.
She attended school at Mooney Hollow in Licking.
She loved to sew and made many blankets for her children and grandkids. She enjoyed painting on canvas or cloth. She also loved to attend her children’s ballgames when they were young.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray Ebert; a son, Gary Ebert; two sisters, Wilma Marie Higginbotham and Sharon Kay Russell; a brother, Lindall Decker; and the family dog, Grizzley.
Survivors include four children, Dena Honig of Houston, Arthur Ebert of Cabool, Brian Ebert of Mountain Grove and Ray “R.J.” Ebert of West Plains; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Evans Funeral Hope Chapel with Pastor Bill Villapiano and Pastor Cordie Wimberley officiating. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Lawn Cemetery.
