Northside Baptist Church was the big winner in Saturday’s annual Christmas parade through downtown Houston.
The church took top honors in the religious category and also won best in show.
Free Will Baptist Church placed second in the religious category. There were only two floats in the category.
U.S. Forestry won the non-religious category. Broken R. Ranch was second and Brad Koch’s family wagon placed third.
This year’s theme was “Old Tyme” Christmas. The winner in each group received $50, followed by $25 and $15.
