A local man is held on $1 million bond following his arrest Saturday following a Chestnut Street shooting incident in Houston.
Adam Parks was arrested on charges of two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action, after firing four shots at a vehicle Saturday that his estranged wife and her boyfriend were in, authorities said.
No injuries were reported in the early Saturday evening shooting on Chestnut Street in Houston. The Houston Police Department was assisted by the Texas County Sheriff’s Office. Parks, a former jailer, was quickly arrested.Â
