The Missouri State Highway Patrol made 22 arrests and issued 25 warnings during a Dec. 14 DWI saturation in Texas County.
The designated highways were U.S. 60, U.S. 63, U.S. Business 60 and Highway MM. Other totals included:
––Three misdemeanor DWI arrests.
––Three speed summonses.
––One failed to yield summons.
––Six seat belt summonses.
––Two other hazardous moving violations summonses.
––Three non-moving summonses.
––Two driving while suspended/revoked summonses.
––Two uninsured motorist summonses.
“The motoring public has been very supportive of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s efforts to make our roads safer through the use of sobriety checkpoints and special enforcement operations,” said Capt. Dwayne F. Isringhausen, commanding officer of Troop G. “Nobody wants to share the road with a drunk, drugged or otherwise unsafe driver. Please do your part by driving safely.”
