A blood drive is Friday, Feb. 21, at Houston High School.

The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will host five blood drives this month in Texas County.

CBCO has issued a code yellow alert for O Negative blood. There is less than a two-day supply on hospital shelves.

Times, dates and locations for the drives are:

––3-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at Roby Lions Club.

––2-6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at First Baptist Church in Cabool.

––11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at Plato High School.

––9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at Texas County Memorial Hospital.

––4-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at John E. Schwartz Farm at 16999 Boone Creek Road in Licking.

Eligibility requirements include weighing at least 110 pounds, being in general good health and present ID.
