The Texas County Fair released information this week about weigh-ins and the Texas County Fair.

The market steer and replacement heifer weigh-in with a minimum heifer weight of 700 pounds is 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 17. Exhibitors may sell one beef animal.

Market goats and sheep will be weighed from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 21. They must have Scrapie tag at weigh-in. Maximum weight for hogs at weigh-in is 90 pounds.

Here is the fair schedule:

4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, poultry, goats, sheep and rabbits check-in, as well as goats and sheep.

Wednesday, July 31, 10 a.m. rabbit show; and 5 p.m., goat show.

9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, beef and swine check-in and weigh-in. Minimum sale weight for market swine is 225 pounds; 950 pounds for market steers. 3 p.m. sheep show and 6:30 p.m. kiddie show.

9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, beef show followed by swine.

9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, dairy show. The sale is at 4 p.m.
