County authorities say a Licking woman faces multiple charges after being involved in a physical altercation with jail personnel.
According to a written report submitted by a Texas County Sheriff’s Department officer, Angela D. McCloud, 33, of 214 Green St. at Licking, turned herself in at the Texas County Jail at about 11:20 a.m. Friday on a felony warrant and three misdemeanor warrants.
McCloud reportedly became combative during the booking process and began fighting with two corrections officers. During the struggle, McCloud caused a printer to fall to the floor and break into pieces. Jail personnel eventually gained control of her, but she continued to be combative all the way to her cell.
The reporting officer said McCloud was to be charged with assaulting an officer and damaging county property. The charges she had turned herself in on included possession of possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, driving while intoxicated and driving with a revoked license.
