One person was injured Wednesday night after a vehicle struck a deer on U.S. 60 one mile west of Cabool.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said an eastbound 2009 Cadillac driven by Shirley J. Powell, 66, of Thayer, struck the animal.
A passenger, Tonya K. Hubbs, 58, of Thayer, received minor injuries and was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital.
The vehicle received moderate damage, said Tpr. Marty Wiseman. Both women were wearing seat belts.
