Peggy Kathleen McKinney Cooper died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012.
She was born Oct. 9, 1951, in Bucyrus, daughter of Vernon E. and Margaret Shoffeitt McKinney.
She was a military veteran, retiring after servicing 20 years in the Navy. She graduated from Tidewater Community College with a degree in information technology.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael McKinney.
Survivors include her husband, Alfred “Al”; two daughters, Desiree “Desi” of South Korea and Alena “Lena” of Chesapeake, Va; a stepsister, Renee Ruiz; and many other relatives and friends.
Services were Thursday, Dec. 20, under the direction of Metropolitan Funeral Service in Norfolk, Va.
