Authorities said David L. Bradley, 28, was injured Thursday when his vehicle ran off Highway 17, overcorrected and ran off the other side of road. Bradley was ejected from the vehicle.

A Summersville man was seriously injured Thursday morning in a crash south of his hometown, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. 

Tpr. P.R. Wells said a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven south by David L. Bradley, 28, ran off Highway 17, overcorrected and ran off the other side of road.

Bradley, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected when the vehicle overturned. He was flown by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. 

The vehicle was totaled, Wells said.
