The woman named as a suspect her former boyfriend, who lives in Minnesota.
––An officer reported that on Feb. 19 he had investigated a report of burglary at a Highway HH residence at Willow Springs.
A 54-year-old man who lives there reportedly told the officer that an Echo chain saw had been swiped from his home, and that he had later located it and purchased it at a Willow Springs pawn shop.
The officer stated that contact would be made with the woman who sold the saw to the shop for $40.

A 55-year-old woman who lives there reportedly told the officer that several items with a total value of $715 had been swiped, including a Hotpoint dryer, a mountain bike, kitchen goods and many DVDs.
The woman named as a suspect a female friend who had been living at the location.
Feb. 23
––An officer investigated a report of burglary at a Highway U residence at Cabool.
The officer made contact with a woman who stated she was caring for dogs owned by a man who lives there who was out of state. The woman reported that the dogs were missing, but the officer was unable to find evidence that the residence had been broken into.

Feb. 24
––A deputy responded at about 9:30 p.m. to a call to assist an ambulance crew at a Highway CC residence at Licking.
The officer stated that a man who lives there had apparently been drunk and fallen out of bed, hurting his chest area. The man reportedly refused treatment, and signed a refusal form. The officers and ambulance crew left the scene.
––An officer responded to a Prescott Road property at Licking regarding a report of animal abuse.
A 67-year-old man who lives there told the officer a horse he owed appeared to have been killed by having its throat slit.
The officer determined that the fatal wound had likely been caused when the horse cut itself on a piece of metal roofing that hung over a fence. Evidence observed by the officer included blood on the metal overhang, and markings in the mud that seemed to indicate the horse lost its footing and then caught its throat on the metal.
