Three man ran after be stopped on a Raymondville street. One faces charges following an investigation, according to the Texas County Sheriff's Department.

An officer with the Texas County Sheriff’s Department reported last week that a man received three drug-related citations on Feb. 21 after an investigation of late-night property damage at an Orchard Street residence at Raymondville.

The officer stated that a 30-year-old woman living there told him a truck had broken her garbage can, and she was concerned that the city would charge her for a new one. The officer told the woman to call him if the vehicle returned.

The woman contacted the officer again at about 1:45 a.m., indicating the Ford Ranger pickup had returned and that she knew the owner was a man who lived in the area. The officer arrived back at the scene at about 2 a.m. and after an investigation issued Evan W. White, 25, of 20998 Highway B at Raymondville, citations for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and careless and imprudent driving.

Marijuana and smoking devices found at the scene were seized as evidence and sent to a Missouri State Highway Patrol lab for analysis.
