“Butch” Lewis Vernon Robison Jr., 62, of Summersville, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at his home.
He and Debbie Robison Peacock were married July 23, 2004.
He worked 30 years for Roadway Express until retiring to Shannon County.
He enjoyed spending his time watching University of Alabama football, canoeing and being around friends and family. He was a servant for his Lord within his church home and his community. He recently had been ordained as a deacon.
He was preceded in death by his father, “Snowball” Lewis Vernon Robison Sr.; his stepfather, Ronald Kingsbury; and a son, John Robison.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Robison; a daughter, Christel Ice; his mother, Joy Robison; four sisters, Wanda Scates, Constance Hudson, Love Kingsbury and Christine Kingsbury; a brother, Scott Kingsbury; three stepchildren, Chris Harris, Jason Harris and Bradley Harris; six grandchildren; and many other family members.
Services were Tuesday, March 26, at Summersville First Christian Church with the Rev. Paul Hamm officiating. Services were under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home.
