Numerous investigations were handled during the last week by the Houston Police Department. One stop led to a Taser being deployed.

A Houston man with a warrant for a drug charge was arrested March 19 by the Houston Police Department, and then found to have two other active warrants.

Timothy E. Sullins, 32, of 313 Skyview Terrace in Houston, was arrested at the Houston City Hall for having an active Texas County warrant for possession of a synthetic cannabinoid. An officer, who was aware of the warrant, saw Sullins there.

Following the arrest, a computer check revealed that Sullins also had an active Mountain Grove municipal warrant for failure to appear on a shoplifting charge and a Wright County warrant for driving while revoked. He was taken to the Texas County Jail, where he was unable to post bonds of $5,000 on the drug charge, $2,136 on the failure to appear charge and $500 on the driving violation charge.

On March 18, police arrested Michael A. Hebert, 35, of 15104 Hazelton Drive at Licking, for having an active Texas County warrant for driving while revoked or suspended, possession of marijuana and failure to equip a vehicle with a rear license lamp. An officer, who was aware of the warrant, made the arrest after making contact with Hebert at a Mill Street residence in Houston.

Hebert was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was unable to post $100,000 bond.

On March 19, Treva S. Fletcher, 45, 7602 Brown Hill Road in Houston, was issued a citation for improper vehicle registration after an officer observed expired tags on a charcoal Chevrolet SUV traveling west on Pine Street.
