The new Summersville library is a recipient of $1,000 for new books from the Intercounty Charitable and Education Foundation.
The funds will be used for book purchases at the new library, which is slated to open in a few months. The money comes from the Operation RoundUp program, which allows customers to “round up” their bill to the nearest dollar.
The Texas County Library Foundation received a Community Development Block Grant for the project, which will greatly expand services for eastern Texas County.
