Smoke damage – caused by a water heater that shorted out early Monday morning – has temporarily closed The Eatin’ Place in Summersville.
Owner Jeremy Foster said the restaurant will be closed until further notice as repairs are made.
The Summersville Fire Department responded to a call of smoke inside the building at 5:18 a.m.
