Houston police handled several investigations in the last week.

The following reports were generated in the past week by the Houston Police Department.

•Jessica L. Scott, 22, of 2903 U.S. 63 in Cabool, was arrested April 25 for having an active Branson municipal warrant for shoplifting. An officer arrested Scott at the state probation and parole office after being made aware she was there. Scott was taken to the Texas County Jail and was released after posting $400 bond.

•Jory D. Hock, 28, of 210 Maple Ave. in Licking, was issued a citation for peace disturbance after reportedly involved in an altercation with his former wife at her Acorn Street residence.

•Billy J. Hayes Jr., 22, of 515 Derks St., Mountain View, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after allegedly shoplifting two bottles of rum from the Houston Walmart Supercenter. A Texas County Sheriff’s Department deputy made contact with Hayes at his residence and took him to the Texas County Jail, where police interviewed and cited him.

•Two teenage males were each issued citations for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption and peace disturbance on April 13 after allegedly writing profane words on the sidewalk in front of Walmart Superenter.

After making contact with the pair, an investigating officer smelled alcohol and field sobriety tests were conducted.

Cited were Jordan A. Light, 18, of 8164 Morton Road, Lot 14, and Robert J. Owens II, of Hannibal. A computer check revealed that Owens had an active Houston city warrant for peace disturbance.

•A Licking man and woman were each cited for peace disturbance after reportedly being involved in a fight in the Walmart Supercenter parking lot at about 5 p.m. April 16.

Cited were Vikki L. Hebert, 41, and Michael A. Hebert, 35, both of 15104 Hazelton Drive at Licking. A witness stated that the two were punching each other, throwing things and yelling. A Walmart representative told an investigating officer that Michael Hebert had been banned from the store earlier, and he was subsequently also cited for trespassing. A computer check revealed that Vikki Hebert had an active St. James municipal warrant for no seat belt.

•Kenneth L. Hall, 54, of 18705 Highway M at Elk Creek, was issued citations for driving while intoxicated and failing to stop at a stop sign after a traffic stop at about 4:45 p.m. April 22 at First and Walnut streets. An officer made the stop after observing a white Ford pickup pass through the intersection without stopping.

After making contact with Hall, the officer smelled alcohol and field sobriety tests were conducted. He was taken to the Texas County Jail for a mandatory six-hour hold.

•Jeffery J. Canterbury, 38, of 16045 Decker Road in Licking, was arrested for having an active Licking municipal warrant for expired license plates. An officer who was aware of the warrant arrested Canterbury after seeing him at a U.S. 63 convenience store.

•Eva R. Rowland, 31, of 320 Skyview Terrace in Houston, was issued citations for driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked and no front license plate after an April 13 traffic stop on First Street.

An officer made the stop after observing a green Toyota Forerunner traveling west on Ozark Street with no front license plate. After making contact with the driver, Rowland, the officer smelled alcohol and field sobriety tests were conducted.

•Karla R. Odom, 46, of 141 S. Oak Crest Drive in Houston, was issued a citation for allowing an animal to run at large after a neighbor reported that Odom’s Yorkshire terrier came into her yard and chased she and her daughter and tried to bite them. Police said Odom has received several citations for the same violation.

•Logan A. Harp, 23, of 140 S. Oak Crest Drive in Houston, was issued citations for driving while intoxicated, and failing to properly signal a turn after a traffic stop on Oak Crest Drive at 1:20 a.m. April 21.

An officer made the stop after observing a green Thunderbird turn from U.S. 63 onto Oak Crest Drive without signaling. After making contact with the driver, Harp, the officer smelled alcohol and field sobriety tests were conducted.

•Terry W. Storm, 21, of 17695 Storm Lane in Licking, was issued a citation for driving with expired license plates.

•Dustin R. Odom, 27, of 141 South Oak Crest Drive in Houston, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after being caught attempting to shoplift medication from Walmart Supercenter, according to a report.
