The Missouri Department of Transportation’s southeast district is marketing its former maintenance facility at Licking.
“These facilities are no longer needed to build, improve or maintain Missouri’s highway system,” said Right of Way Manager Sherry Glastetter. “Selling these properties through Realty to Roads benefits taxpayers because the funds generated are dedicated to roadway improvements.”
The former Licking maintenance facility is a 4.15-acre parcel on the west side of Highway 137 in Texas County. There are several structures on the subject property, including a shop building/garage, metal storage building, salt bin structure, concrete containment area and metal rack. A live, on-site auction is planned for 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 3.
