Naomi Marie Volner Perkins, 60, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at her home in Mountain View.

She was born Sept. 28, 1952, in Burlington Junction, daughter of Harvey and Delcie Skaggs Volner.

She spent many hours reading her Bible. She enjoyed attending prayer meetings with her family and friends. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She spent many hours sewing for her family.

She was preceded in death by a son, Allen Perkins; her parents; two brothers, Dearl Volner and Carl Volner; and a sister, Lily Mae Volner.

Survivors include four children, Deana Perkins, Roger Perkins, Pamela Perkins Bales, Angela Perkins Cook; honorary daughter, Katherine Ford; 15 grandchildren; a great-grandson; seven brothers, Bob Volner, Roy Volner, Bill Volner, Jessie Volner, Lynn Volner, Hubert Volner and Eddie Volner; six sisters, Ruth Foster, Judy Richmond, Faye Parsons, Reta Young, Irene Stallsworth and Pat Stallsworth.

Services were Tuesday, April 2, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Solomon and the Rev. Theoata Pruett officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery.
