Numerous investigations were handled during the last week by the Houston Police Department.

The following reports were generated last week by the Houston Police Department.

•Steven R. Parker, 28, of 128 Maple St. in Licking, was issued a citation April 13 for driving without a valid license after a traffic stop on U.S. 63 near Oak Hill Drive. An officer made the stop after observing a green Chevrolet Blazer cross the centerline multiple times. A computer check revealed that Parker’s license was expired.

A passenger in the vehicle – Tammy A. Giller, 40, of 16931 Highway N in Licking – was cited for possession of marijuana. Giller was charged after the officer asked for and received consent to search the vehicle, and found a half-smoked marijuana cigarette in a bag in the rear passenger door, near where Giller had been sitting. Giller admitted it was hers.

•An officer investigated a single vehicle accident on April 17 involving a Springfield Grocer food delivery truck that struck a wall at the Texas County Justice Center. The truck was backing up to unload and made contact with the wall, damaging several bricks on a corner.

•Kelly D. Williams, 34, of 15900 Highway N in Licking, was issued a citation April 17 for driving while revoked after a traffic stop at about 1:15 p.m. on U.S. 63.

•Spencer L. Wade, 51, of 12000 Highway AF in Bucyrus, was arrested April 17 for having an active Texas County warrant for driving while intoxicated. An officer made the arrest at the Private Probation Office after being advised that Spencer was there.
