A truck pull and dog show are planned Saturday as part of a Houston Area Chamber of Commerce event.
The Animal Shelter of Texas County show at the fairgrounds on North U.S. 63 begins with registration at 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The event starts at 12:30 p.m. The cost to enter is $5 per “dog-a-gory.”
A truck pull starts at 2 p.m. Registration is 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. It is $10 for an unlimited hook fee. Spectators’ fees are $10 for adults and those ages 12 and under is free.
Several businesses also are expected to have booths.
