Two members of the Houston High School track team and the 4×200 relay team advanced to sectionals with fourth-place finishes at Monday’s districts in Fair Grove.

Senior Kayla Herndon advanced in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17:53. She edged Fair Grove’s Megan Wahlquist by 0.20 seconds to qualify.

HHS senior Reanna Craig ran the 800 in 2:45.54 to advance to sectionals. She just missed qualifying in the 1600 by finishing fifth in 6:21.70.

The 4×200 team –– consisting of Herndon, Nora Dixon, Taylor Harrison and Shelby Cremer –– finished fourth in 2:04.38.

Liberty won the Class 2 District 6 boys’ title. Strafford won the girls’ championship.
