Houston police officers handled several investigations during the last week. 

The following reports were generated last week by the Houston Police Department.

•Carl J. Wilson, 70, of 6885 U.S. 63 in Houston, was issued a citation for third-degree assault after allegedly shoving a 70-year-old man in the chest May 13 at about 8:30 a.m. at Wilson’s auto repair business.

The incident took place after the victim’s vehicle had been towed to the repair shop and a fee was to be paid, according to a report.

•Berry C. Byrd Jr., 31, of 18230 Brushy Creek Road in Houston, was issued a citation on May 16 for driving with expired license plate tags.

• Glenda J. Van Note, 74, of 7958 Mineral Drive in Houston, was issued a citation for failing to yield right of way after a two-car accident May 14 at about 2:30 p.m. on U.S. 63. An investigating officer determined that the Oldsmobile 88 Van Note was driving turned from the northbound center turn lane into the path of a southbound vehicle.

• Terry W.J. White, 29, of 16464 Forrest Drive in Houston, was issued a citation for first-degree trespassing after he was seen in Walmart on May 13 at about 3 p.m. White had been issued and signed a trespass notice from Walmart in May 2010.

The investigating officer stated that White had several times in the past disregarded the notice and entered the store, and was each time asked to leave with being cited.

• Adam K. Neugebauer, 18, of 125 Remington Circle in Houston, was issued citations for driving while intoxicated (drug condition) and operating a vehicle with no operable tail lamp after a traffic stop at about 10:30 p.m. May 15 on Hamrick Avenue, according to a report.

An officer made the stop after observing a black Chevrolet pickup traveling with no driver’s side tail lamp. After making contact with the driver – Neugebauer – the officer noticed behavior and appearance associated with drug use and field sobriety tests were conducted, according to a report.

Neugebauer was taken to the Texas County Jail and later released to the custody of a relative.
