Officers with the Houston Police Department handled several calls during the last week.

The following reports were generated last week by the Houston Police Department.

•Megan L. Hilliard, 23, of 700 Ozark St. in Houston, was issued a citation for allowing an animal to run at large after a neighbor reported at about 10:40 a.m. May 12 that Hilliard’s boxer was tearing up his garden.

An investigating officer stated that the neighbor said he had on several occasions asked that the dog be tied up, but that it was still allowed to run loose. The officer reported that when he arrived at the scene, he observed the dog standing in the neighbor’s garden, and it became aggressive and barked at him.

•Ryan L. Wolfe, 20, of 1403 Cherokee St. in Houston, was issued a citation for property damage on May 25 after allegedly damaging two doors at a woman’s Cedar Street residence.

An officer wrote the ticket after the landlord of the Cedar Street property was told by the tenant that Wolfe had kicked the doors in.

•Dalton J. Smith, 21, of 108 W. Cedar St. in Houston, was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way after a two-vehicle accident on Grand Avenue at about 10:45 a.m. May 19.

An investigating officer determined that Smith had backed his 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera out of a parking place and collided with a 1993 Chevrolet Lumina being driven southbound by Charles Bell of Houston.
