The Missouri State Highway Patrol conducted sobriety checkpoints on March 14 and 15 in Texas County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol made 28 arrests and issued 19 warnings were issued in conjunction with a Click It Or Ticket seat belt enforcement operation May 19 in Texas County.

Totals from this enforcement effort included:

––18 seat belt summonses.

––One child restraint violation summons.

––Two non-moving violation summonses.

––One no driver’s license summons.

––One driving while suspended/revoked summons.

––Four uninsured motorist summonses.

––One misdemeanor warrant arrest.

“Motorists traveling on Missouri’s roadways can expect that members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol will be striving to do all we can to rid our roads of unsafe drivers,” said Capt. Dwayne F. Isringhausen, commanding officer of Troop G. “Please help us by being the safest driver you can possibly be. Always pay attention to the task of driving, and please wear your seat belt at all times.”
