Two persons were arrested on drug charges by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on Wednesday, May 1.

Two Mountain Grove residents were arrested Wednesday on multiple drug charges by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Arthur L. Huffman, 35, of Mountain Grove, was arrested on six counts:

•Felony Texas County warrant for delivering or distributing not more than five grams of marijuana.

•Felony possession of a controlled substance.

•Felony driving while revoked.

•Misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

•Misdemeanor unlawful use of paraphernalia.

•Failed to display valid plates.

He was taken to the Texas County Jail and held without bond.

Valerie J. Cooper, 31, was arrested on felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. She was taken to the Texas County Jail awaiting filing of formal charges, according to a report.
