Fern Marcella Crismon, 80, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, in Springfield.
She was born Sept. 21, 1932, in Big Piney, daughter of Lawrence and Lois Chambers Jones. She and Oliver Dale Crismon were married Feb. 14, 1954.
She loved to crochet and sew. She shared her handiwork with family and friends.
She attended church at First Baptist of Plato. She enjoyed the fellowship there with many from the Roby community.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a great-grandson, Jayel Crismon.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Oliver, of Roby; a daughter, Marilyn Crismon of Springfield; a son, Rick Dale Crismon of Minooka, Ill.; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a sister, Ruby Meyers of Bourbannis, Ill.; and many more relatives and friends.
Services were Saturday, June 29, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Eugene Earp officiating. Burial was in Smith Cemetery in Edgar Springs.
