Houston police handled several investigations in the last week. 

The following reports were generated last week by the Houston Police Department.

•Matthew C. Homer, 18, of 5855 Highway 17 in Yukon, was issued citations for failing to stop at a stop sign and speeding after an officer observed a Dodge flatbed truck travel through a posted stop sign at Pine and First streets without stopping and then traveling at a high rate of speed on Grand Avenue at about 11:40 p.m. June 1

•Joanne D. Lamb, 36, of 318 Cherry St. in Houston, was issued citations for driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway following a traffic stop at about 10 p.m. on Cherry Street.

On officer made the stop after observing a green Toyota 4-runner driving erratically on several streets. After making contact with the driver – Lamb – the officer smelled alcohol and field sobriety tests were conducted. Lamb was taken to the Texas County Jail for a mandatory six-hour hold period.

•Jamie R. Feringa, 32, of 8205 Northview Lane, Lot 15, in Houston, was arrested May 23 for having an active Texas County warrant for second-degree assault. An officer arrested Feringa at the Missouri Probation and Parole office on Oak Hill Drive after being made aware that Feringa was there.

Feringa was taken to the Texas County Jail, where he was unable to post $150,000 bond.

•Joshua A. Jennings, 21, address unknown, was issued a citation for peace disturbance after allegedly beating on the door of his former girlfriend’s Highway 17 apartment at about 5 p.m. May 24.

The arresting officer stated he had made contact with Jennings earlier the same day regarding another domestic disturbance involving he and another former girlfriend. Jennings was arrested while walking near the tennis courts on King Street. He was taken to the Texas County Jail.

•Randy E. Romines, 48, of 7075 Highway 17 in Houston, was issued a citation May 22 for driving with an expired license plate number.

•Michael J. Pacheco, 36, of 4309 Bado Road in Cabool, was issued a citation on May 20 for driving with an expired license plate number.
