More than 500 students have signed up for a back-to-school fair later this summer, and help is needed to meet the needs, organizers said Monday.
Children from seven school districts in the county will participate.
Assistance is sought from residents, businesses and churches. Items needed include students’ pointed scissors, package of two erasers and bottles of GermX.
Items can be dropped off at the Houston Housing Authority office, Texas County collector-treasurer office in the basement of the Texas County Administrative Center or Infinite Entertainment on North U.S. 63.
