A man and woman from Licking were both arrested by the Houston Police Department on May 28 after allegedly selling marijuana at the Licking City Park, in close proximity to the Licking School District.
Arrested on Texas County felony warrants on charges of distributing a controlled substance near a school and endangering the welfare of a child were Cassadie L. Bryson, 21, and William H. Gann, 25, both of 13301 Craddock Road in Licking. Authorities allege the pair was selling marijuana at the park, within 2,000 feet of the school.
Bryson and Gann were apprehended at the Substance Abuse Traffic Offenders Program (SATOP) office in Houston. They were taken to the Texas County Jail, where they were unable to post $750,000 bond.
