Revenue from half-cent sales tax collected in Texas County were up about 5 percent from the same monthly period a year ago, reports the Missouri Department of Revenue.
The tally was about $96,086 on each. That’s up about $4,344 on the three collected.
For the year, collections total about $397,700 on each. That’s up about 3 percent on each sales tax, which is used for debt repayment on the justice center, maintenance and general revenue.
