A traffic stop Saturday, July 25, resulted in charges for a Summersville man, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Two residents from Licking were injured Tuesday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash south of Rolla, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Tpr. Paul Volkmer said a southbound 2008 Toyota Corolla driven by Doris P. Dowler, 78, of Rolla, was making a left turn on Highway O into a private drive and turned into the path of a northbound 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis operated by Mary E. Rinne, 74, of Licking. Both collided and a southbound 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix operated by Angela M. Sidwell, 27, of Rolla, struck the Corolla in the rear as it attempted to pass on the shoulder.

Rinne and a passenger, John H. Tiberghein, 77, of Licking, were taken to Phelps Country Regional Medical Center in Rolla. Volkmer said Rinne had minor injuries, while Tiberghein had moderate injuries. Dowler was sent to the Rolla with minor injuries.
