A Raymondville woman is charged with assault following an incident at the county library in Houston, authorities said.
Katie M. Bressie, 27, of 417 Craig St. in Raymondville, was issued a citation for third-degree assault on May 28 after allegedly punching her former boyfriend’s current girlfriend during an incident at about 2:20 p.m. at the Texas County Library in Houston. Photographs were taken of bruising around the victim’s left eye, and a bump on her forehead.
The victim  requested restitution of $300 for glasses Bressie broke during the assault, according to a report.
