A drunk motorcyclist was injured Sunday in a crash north of Licking, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. P.R. Wells said a northbound 2006 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle operated by Robert L. Lauer, 49, of Licking, travelled off the left side of the roadway and struck a utility pole, ejecting the driver.
He was flown to Mercy Hospital after the accident on Shafer Road about six miles north of Licking.
Authorities said Lauer was charged with felony DWI – alcohol, driving while revoked, failure to display valid plates and having no insurance.
