The following reports were generated last week by the Houston Police Department:
•Justin T. Evon, 28, of Prairie Road in Bucyrus (address unknown), was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after being allegedly caught shoplifting a car stereo amplifier July 3 at the Houston Walmart, authorities said.
•Shirley M. Reeves, 51, of O’Fallon, Ill., was issued a citation for third-degree assault after allegedly striking a 20-year-old Licking woman during an incident at the Lone Star Plaza at 8:40 p.m. July 8. •Amber D. Kirk, 24, of 727 Dooley St. in Houston, was on July 9 arrested for having an active Texas County warrant for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. An officer who was aware of the warrant made the arrest after observing Kirk sitting in a grassy area adjacent to a U.S. 63 retail location. She was taken to the Texas County Jail, where she was unable to post $150,000 bond.
•Justin M. Wilcox, 21, of 614 N. Second St. in Houston, was issued a citation for third-degree domestic assault after allegedly striking his 24-year-old wife during an argument at 11:10 p.m. June 23.
